GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist BUMBLEFOOT Interviewed On 'Dropping The Needle' Podcast (Video)

December 4, 2012

GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal was interviewed on the December 3 edition of the "Dropping The Needle" podcast. You can now watch the first part of the chat below.

"Dropping The Needle" is hosted by Michael Brandvold from Michael Brandvold Marketing and Mitch Lafon from PureGrainAudio.com. It is described as "the podcast where all music from all genres is discussed. New releases, classic albums, rediscovered music, signed and unsigned. No ass-kissing, just two guys talking about music."

GUNS N' ROSES finished up its Las Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel by having former guitarist and founding member Izzy Stradlin join the band onstage for the last three shows. Stradlin came out to play on a number of songs at all three gigs, including "14 Years", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Used To Love Her" and "Paradise City". Stradlin last showed up to jam with the current version of the group at a show in London earlier this year.

He first returned to the stage with GUNS back in 2006 at a concert in New York City, playing with them for the first time since leaving the group in 1992.

Stradlin and GUNS singer Axl Rose were the only original members of the group to skip its induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last April.

Although he has kept a low public profile since leaving GUNS 20 years ago, Stradlin has released no less than 11 solo studio albums, and issued a new single last month called "Baby-Rann".

GUNS N' ROSES heads to India later this month for a three-city tour.
